Artist Statement
To be broken is to be flawed, imperfect or incomplete. To be forcibly separated into two or more pieces, reduced to fragments.
‘Up From Broken’ is a depiction of a two-year journey through healing.
These images are an expression of a crisis of self, an honest evaluation of one’s feelings, purpose and path forward and the process of repairing and rebuilding a wounded spirit.
Biography
My name is Teresa Jones. I am the mother of two amazing young men. I am a novice photographer and a student of photography, learning portfolio project building. I have been learning photography for a little over a year. I enjoy portrait, abstract and nature photography.
