Express How You Feel

Artist

Teresa Jones

Project Note(s)

Abstract photography produced with a 50mm lens

Artist Statement

“I believe Abstract Photography is an expression of emotions. For me it signifies what is being felt on the inside rather than what is being seen on the outside. It does not have an immediate relationship with an identifiable object. Instead, it focuses on intense colors and textures to grab your attention to pull an emotional response from within you.

I am aware of the emotions that I feel when I create my photographs and I want to know what others feel when they look at my images. According to Photographer Ansel Adams, there are always two people in every picture the photographer and the viewer.”
