Artist Statement
“I’ve occupied, and shared, the same space for 28 years.
This space was connective—the matter that nurtured solely me and the matter that fell away, nurturing my relationships.
This space held me, and the people that glided through it became a part of me.
This space is about to become a thing of the past.
This work is about space and time and the people in it.”
Biography
Shannon Lieberman was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and graduated from the Ohio State University with a Bachelor’s of Science. She’s been featured as Creative Babes “The Chosen Babe”, started a travel-in-your backyard MeetUp Group named “Meet & Eat”, and awarded a Certificate of merit for Engrosser’s Script by Master Penman William Lilly. She likes to think she’s curious—that there’s always beauty in a chance.
