Artist Statement
I chose this project for two reasons. The first was to explore and capture the relationship between people and an object that holds significance to them. The second objective was to spend time with my friends and acquaintances and reconnect with them, take the opportunity to learn about them and at least one thing that holds meaning in their lives.
Biography
Computer analyst by day and graduate student by night, Meredith Underhill is an amateur photographer who has spent the last several years capturing live concerts in the Columbus area. First interested in photography at a young age Meredith would spend her allowance on disposable cameras and capture image of her friends and and family before the rise of cell phone cameras.
