Chocolate Café – May Feature

Our featured business for May is the warm, welcoming, and happiness inducing Chocolate Café in Upper Arlington!

Located near the intersection of Northwest Boulevard and North Star Road, the Chocolate Café is dangerously positioned between my home in Upper Arlington and our new studio in Grandview. I became a frequent customer of the café long before I saw it every day on my way to and from work. In 2013, shortly after I moved to Columbus, the building caught my attention as I was driving down Northwest. I could see the warm glow of the interior pendant lights and the large sign that read “CHOCOLATE” begging me for a visit.

As the name suggests they have a lot of chocolate! Truffles, cake, ice cream, mixed drinks, fondue, and chocolate covered strawberries – and that’s just the tip of the frozen hot chocolate iceberg!

Chocolate may have been the attention getter, but the reason I’ve kept going back is because they do so much more than just sell chocolate. They have a fantastic food menu with fresh ingredients and plenty of vegetarian options! The staff is friendly and courteous each time I visit (no matter how busy they are) and if you are lucky enough to visit while the owner, Lisa Boyle, is there be sure to say hi! She is always happy to meet her customers!

We love to have our meetings at the café because there is something for everyone to enjoy while we work. It’s also a favorite “date night” spot for my daughter and I. She usually gets ice cream and I get a slice of chocolate cake — drizzled in dark chocolate of course! The atmosphere is open, inviting, and fun so be sure to check them out and let them know that you read about the Chocolate Café from UA Creative! Happy chocolate chomping!

Special thank you to Lisa Boyle and her staff at Chocolate Café for making our shoot so enjoyable and tasty! Be sure to check them out online, on Facebook, and on Instagram to stay on top of all the chocolatey goodness!
